The main focus of this full-time summer internship is supporting the delivery of week-long summer camps for children. Internships provide experience in teaching/co-teaching children's classes for a statewide, nonprofit environmental education and conservation organization.

Stream Watch Intern

The primary responsibility of the full-time summer internship is a water quality investigation of the streams in New Castle Co, DE. The internship provides field experience in chemical, physical and biological water quality monitoring.

Research Intern (Year-long)

The main focus of this internship is expanding the Delaware Nature Society's advocacy legislative agenda through research of national, state, and local environmental issues. Past examples of research opportunities were state freshwater wetland and endangered species regulations.

Legislative Intern (January- June)

The main focus of this internship is developing a keen working knowledge of Delaware's political process. The intern will develop this working knowledge through accompanying the Environmental Advocate to the General Assembly, public hearings, and other public events.
