Abbott’s Mill Nature Center features beautiful trails. Hike through lush deciduous and Atlantic White Cedar woodlands. You can also explore our handicap-accessible boardwalk that follows a clear coastal plain stream to open meadows, picnic area, and a Garden for Wildlife idea garden. Our historic working gristmill (currently closed due to construction) and its water source, a 20-acre pond, lend a sense of the rich human history of the area. We also have kayak/SUP rentals by reservation. Discover wildlife up close in our Visitor Center with its live animal collection, “please touch” area, and animal displays. Let your kids can play in our kids’ corner with puzzles and stuffed animals. Abbott’s sits on a 376-acre piece of Milford Millponds Nature Preserve. The site is open to the general public and trails are pet-friendly. Parking is available by our visitor center. Check out our photo gallery.
