DuPont Environmental Education Center (DEEC)
A unique opportunity to learn about and enjoy nature in an urban setting
|
The Delaware Nature Society operates the DuPont Environmental Education Center in Wilmington, showcasing where the city, river, and marsh meet. The center, which is owned by the Riverfront Development Corporation is on the edge of the 212-acre Russell W. Peterson Urban Wildlife Refuge that adjoins the tidal Christina River.
The facility is open to the public year-round and features indoor and outdoor exhibits on water related natural and cultural history topics and a boardwalk that extends into the marsh.

Help Keep Electronics out of Landfills!
Keep electronics out of landfills. Just visit the Sycamore International and register what you want to recycle. Bring those electronic items to DEEC during open hours and place them in the electronics recycling box. And, that's it!
