How to Pick Up Your Thanksgiving Turkeys
Pick up your ordered turkey at The Market at Coverdale (directions) on November 21, 9 am – 6 pm
The Market at Coverdale will also have vegetables and other seasonal fare for sale during pick up hours.
How Payment Works
$25 deposit reserves 1 turkey for either weight range.
At pick-up, Thanksgiving turkeys will be weighed, and you will be charged the balance. $7.50/lb. At that time you may pay by cash, credit card, or check (payable to Delaware Nature Society).
Our flock is raised on lush pasture so variations in size are natural. Our birds are weighed in late October to inform our online sales process in early November. The birds are not processed for two weeks from that date, allowing for additional weight gain. We take orders for birds in weight ranges rather than an exact weight.
We cannot guarantee that your bird will be a specific weight, or that our numbers of available birds in each weight category will not change, however we will do our best to accommodate your preference.
