Volunteering at DNS

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Volunteers have played a key role in every stage of the development of the Delaware Nature Society and they continue to direct its work and contribute to the realization of its highest goals. We count our volunteers among our most valuable and respected assets--in all, 1,000 committed individuals who give of their valuable time, their special skills, and their personal interests to benefit the Society. Our environmental programs and accomplishments since the Society's inception have been possible only through their help, and the value of these services is reflected in our ability to conduct programs which receive no direct support.

A tributary of White Clay Creek, the protection of the Middle Run watershed is important to ensure high quality water for City of Newark. Interested groups and individuals should contact Derek Stoner, Reforestation Coordinator, at (302) 239-2334 ext. 106, or
