VOLUNTEER SUMMER CAMP COUNSELORS NEEDED
Ashland Nature Center and Coverdale Farm

Help children discover the magic of the natural world as you assist our teachers. Become part of our teaching team as you work with teachers, teach programs, maintain teaching areas, monitor snacks and recreation periods, introduce children to live animals and work with live animals.

Enjoy fun, friends, adventure, and animals.
Flexible work weeks to accommodate vacations
Excellent experience for future jobs and college applications
Counselor mid season canoe trip and end of summer party

Dates: June 16 - August 15, 2008. Training date is June 13, 2008.

Requirements:

1. You must be between the ages of 14 and 17 and be enthusiastic about working outdoors with children ages 3-8. A Household membership in the Delaware Nature Society is required.

2. You must volunteer for a minimum of 3 weeks and be available weekdays from 8:00 a.m.-4:00p.m.Ę Weeks need not be successive, but do need to be full weeks (5 full days except for July 4th week).

3. Applications are due by April 30th.
