WHO TO CONTACT
To set up a program with the Delaware Nature Society, please contact the staff person at the site where the program is offered, or E-mail your request and a staff member will be in contact with you.
NECESSARY INFORMATION
To set up a registration, please be prepared with the following information:
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Grade level or age of students
- Total number of students who will participate
- Preferred dates for the program
- Preferred start and required end time for the program
- Are there any students with special needs that we should know about?

DNS PROGRAM POLICIES
Group Size
There is a minimum charge for 12 students. Smaller groups are accepted but must pay for 12 participants. Please contact us if your group size changes after you receive a confirmation.
Teachers / Chaperones
The Delaware Nature Society requires one adult for every 12 students unless otherwise noted, additional chaperones welcome. There is no fee for chaperones. Click Here to download the Chaperone Letter PDF.
Payment
Full payment for field trips or outreach programs is requested 30 days prior to the program; payable by check, credit card or purchase order. Please contact our staff if this is not possible.
Cancellation
If the school group cancels within 30 days of the trip, fees are not refunded.
Weather
Programs are conducted rain, snow or shine. In the event of hazardous or severe weather, the Delaware Nature Society may cancel the program and every attempt will be made to reschedule the trip. If this is not possible, a full refund will be made.
Photographs
Delaware Nature Society reserves the right to use any pictures of students to promote the Society's programs unless otherwise notified by parents.
