Cooch-Dayett Mills Open House
Sunday, May 17, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Starting in 1837, wheat and corn have been milled into flour and meal as well as animal feed at Cooch-Dayett Mills. Drop in and discover the mill machines, find the mill race, try your hand at grinding wheat berries, walk to the Christina Creek, and explore the truck weighing station. Cooch-Dayett Mills is owned and operated by the State Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs; Delaware Nature Society offers programs at the mill.

Coverdale Farm Families Open House
Sunday, April 26, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Bring your family to Coverdale Farm to meet our furry and feathered farm family. We will explore the farmstead to find ewes and lambs, hens and chicks, cows and calves and a sow and her piglets. Join us for a delicious snack in our NEW farm education building, explore our new center complete with a teaching kitchen and learn about the programs you can take at our beautiful farm!

Coverdale Farm Dinner and Movie Night
Friday, August 28, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Pack up your picnic dinner and head out to Coverdale Farm. Spread the family blanket out under the tall oaks and enjoy your late summer meal. Then join us for our feature presentation of a "farmy film" made for the entire family. Pass the popcorn and have some fun down on the farm.
