Course #: U09-078-AS Saturday, July 18, 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm Member/Non-Member: $15/$25 Leader: Delaware Nature Society Staff Dig for mineral treasures like mica, quartz, and garnet at a unique feldspar quarry near the Brandywine River. Learn why these minerals are here and how they were mined. Search for prize specimens to take home to add to your mineral collection. Invite your pal for an exciting evening adventure! Share in the fun of meeting the resident farm animals; milking our jersey cow; and bottle feeding the calf. We'll explore the garden; cook and share dinner together; enjoy team games and challenges with your buddy. End the night with a hayride and campfire with 'smores. Dinner and invited guest included in registration fee; one guest only per registrant, please include name of invited guest upon registering.
