  • The New Flavor of the Harvest Moon Festival

    What do you get when you pair the finest regional chefs with premium local wine, beer and Coverdale Farm grown foods? The newest and most delectable addition to the Harvest Moon Festival!

    We welcome you to our first local food and spirits celebration each afternoon of the Harvest Moon Festival, October 4th & 5th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Join us around the exclusive tables set high atop the most scenic vista at Coverdale Farm to enjoy tastes of the region.

    Share in the conviviality of this autumnal fete while local spirits are paired with seasonal foods fresh from Coverdale Farm. Enjoy organically grown vegetables from the teaching garden and meat from animals fed a healthy, natural diet.

    Saturday, October 4th the celebration begins with the wines from Paradocx Winery in Landenberg, Pennsylvania partnered with tasting dishes prepared by culinary master, Thomas Hannum, Executive Chef of the Hotel duPont. Discover the fine art of wine tasting from Paradocx while Chef Hannum illustrates the delicious art of marrying seasonal Coverdale Farm foods to each wine.

    Sunday, October 5th the appetizing event continues with the beers of Twin Lakes Brewery in Greenville, Delaware partnered with tasting dishes prepared with the culinary brilliance of Chef Sean Holland, Ameritage Bistro. Learn a lager from a porter while discovering what Coverdale foods are the perfect fits for local brews.

    Each afternoon event has limited, reserved seating. Daily tickets are $60 per person. Register for both days and save $10 per day! Each ticket provides the holder entrance to the 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm exclusive event, individual entrance to the entire festival, child care during the event with skilled Delaware Nature Society teaching staff, and entry into the daily event gift basket raffle.
