Young Waterfowlers is a comprehensive educational program designed to offer youth ages 12 to 18 an introduction to the pursuit of waterfowling. During the four month series each Fall, students learn about wildlife management, habitat protection, bird identification, and conservation practices. Hands-on activities like decoy carving, duck calling, shotgun shooting, dog training, and blind building provide experiences that showcase the ways that waterfowling is a uniquely American outdoor tradition.
Classes run in the fall. Registration opens again in the late summer.
