CSA policies

By registering online, I have read and agree to the following: I understand as a Delaware Nature Society (DNS) CSA member that the variety of produce I receive depends on growing conditions that vary from season to season. CSA members share in the inherent risks (poor weather, drought, disease, early frost, crop failure, etc.) and rewards (the bounty from a good season) involved in farming. DNS plans for such contingencies and uses growing techniques that protect the harvest, minimize risk to members and optimize the rewards, such as growing a wide variety of crops that thrive in different conditions, cover cropping, crop rotation and irrigation. I also understand that my share will not be saved if I do not pick it up on the scheduled day. By participating in this CSA, I am supporting local agriculture as well as a healthier society.

Some of the factors the judges consider when choosing photos include use of light, depth of field, sharpness of focus, color balance, composition, framing, camera angle, originality, choice of subject matter, and the amount of patience (or luck!) required to get a shot.
