Farm to Fork is an evening to honor an extraordinary agricultural estate, Coverdale Farm Preserve, in the bucolic, rolling hills of Greenville, Delaware. Situated on a 356-acre preserve, Coverdale Farm encompasses an 18th century stone bank barn, livestock pastures, native meadow, idyllic ponds, woodlands, and panoramic views of rolling countryside. Farm to Fork brings together conservation-minded people in spirit of raising funding for the sustainable agriculture and education activities of Coverdale Farm Preserve.
In 2016's Farm to Fork, the theme was Honoring our Roots and celebrated the deep and rich history of Coverdale Farm Preserve. Guests arrived at twilight, enjoyed the first pairing and hors d'oeurves overlooking the pasture, and conjoined for a family-style, three-course seated dinner under the stars. Our menu featured delectables grown right on the farm, with a menu pairing by David Weir, chef and owner of Goat Kitchen and Bar, featuring craft brewed Dogfish Head beer. All proceeds benefitted Delaware Nature Society. Thank you to all who joined us!
