Series of classes March - September
Whether you are just beginning your interest in nature, or wish to gain greater depth of understanding of local ecosystems, take advantage of this spring through fall course! Learn about the ecology of the Piedmont region and the flora and fauna that reside here during eight lectures and field trips led by experts. Each participant will complete a field and classroom notebook to become a certified naturalist.School teachers can receive 60 hours of in-service credit.

Session Series: June through September, 1 pm - 5 p
Learn how to help others create wildlife habitat gardens. Topics include site analysis, plant selection, design for happy critters and neighbors, and wildlife-friendly gardening practices. Four afternoons, one Saturday and one evening. Course includes garden visits and a resource notebook. Some homework required for NWF certification.
